Together: One Shot Comic

Inspiration can strike at anytime...

In March of 2020 I drew what was supposed to be a one page comic, inspired by a page layout I saw of Alex Vede. His Instagram post from Jan 25th 2020 showed 3 close up panels at the top of the page and a establishing shot at the bottom. I tried to mimic that layout with my own story.

Fast forward to November of 2020, I decided to explore the story a bit further! The one page comic slowly became a full comic issue that you are reading now. I learned a lot from creating this comic. From page layout to storytelling, needing to have character designs locked at the beginning, and a little bit more about setting deadlines (what we all hate and need at the same time).

Thanks for taking the time to read this short story below.

Inktober 2020

Another year, another Inktober! 2020 has been crazy to say the least and it was nice to do something that was consistent for 31 day straight to help take my mind off things. I decided to go digital this year 31 day challenge to sharpen up my procreate skills a bit. It’s a great program and I love that it records the process while you are making the illustration. If you haven’t check it out the program yet, be sure to! Below are some of my favorites entries from this year Inktober.
